As we approach the long weekend and head towards the holiday season, we know that the desire and ability to travel increases.
While you are making your travel arrangements to other countries, such as the United States, please ensure that you take into consideration the Government of Canada’s specific vaccination and/or testing requirements that may apply to your family’s situation: COVID-19 Travel: Checklists for requirements and exemptions.
Also, please be aware that the federal government has mandated that unvaccinated students are not permitted to attend school for 14 days after their arrival date back into Canada, even if they remain asymptomatic. This is particularly relevant for children under 12 years of age who are not eligible to be vaccinated at this time.
